Dawn's Dinner Party is offering private catering for a wide range of special events.

Dinners can be a locally inspired by a 100-mile meal, or an edible journey from the Mediterranean, Turkey, Georgia, Thailand, India, Japan, Morocco and the Middle East (Just to name a few!).

Dawn's Dinner Party uses organic dairy, grains, meat, and supports locally farmed fruits and vegetables.

About us: Over 40 years of combined experience between the careers of this professional cooking couple. They have traveled extensively throughout Asia, the Middle East and Europe researching local food and customs, discovering hidden markets and tasty food vendors.

Dawn: Inspired by her mother, Dawn began cooking at a very young age while living in Hawaii. Rich with influences from Asia she grew to comfortable with a wok and a taste for fresh seafood.

Ed: While growing up in a diplomatic family, Edmund experienced a wide array of food and cultures from the likes of the Andes Mountains to the Islands of New Zealand.

Dawn: After graduating from Bard University with a degree in Philosophy, she continued her interests in professional cooking and baking to positions as a Pastry Chef in New Orleans and Head Baking Consultant at artisan bakeries in New York and Toronto.

Ed: Edmund found his place in the fast-paced world of professional kitchens. Trained in classic European culinary methods, at Johnson and Wales University, he began his career in small family style Italian restaurants then on to luxury hotels and award-winning restaurants. An advocate for local food, his recent effort is coordinating Toronto's first wholesale organic farmer's market.

Dawn: Extensive travels to Europe, the Mediterranean and parts of Asia expanded her repertoire by immersion in Eastern Mediterranean, Thai, Chinese, Cambodian, Georgian, and Middle Eastern cuisines.

Ed and Dawn: Together they have taught, catered, and even opened a restaurant together! United in an unpretentious style and dedicated to locally farmed foods and select imported ingredients to bring a wealth of flavor to your table, Dawn's Dinner Party has been the perfect canvas to share tastes and inspire others to try new foods.
